One of the top defensive players in the nation regardless of class is Wilmington (Del.) St. Elizabeth center Malcolm Gilbert. The 6-foot-10, 210-pounder, who’s part of the class of 2010, averaged almost 12 blocked shots per game during his sophomore season and has emerged at every stop this spring on the AAU circuit as a force in the paint. Gilbert, who was in Charlottesville for the Southern Invitational this past weekend, has long been on the radar for Dave Leitao and UVa. [ details]
