In the spring when we last updated our Virginia Top 25, we not only extended our original rankings for the class but we took into account early offers and potential at the next level. With this update, we're balancing those with film and on-site evaluation as well as what our various sources in and around the state are saying. Since the spring, there have been several events on both the regional and national stage for prospects to attend and show their skills. Guys have added more offers, they've committed to schools, more players have been evaluated by Rivals, and we've gotten a chance to see more both in person and on film. As CavsCorner has done in the past, we balance a number of different factors when we do our rankings. We put a lot of stock into a player being able to compete early in his college career. We also leverage factors against one another, including a player's long-term potential, how's he trending, and where a player ranked last time. If he drops or if he rises should both have some accompanying circumstances that lead to that being the case. And if not, then the reason may be that we over and under valued in the original ranking.
With that said, here is the updated CavsCorner 2013 Virginia Top 25.
