The weather was horrible and the playing conditions showed it, as did the fan turnout. The play on the field wasn't much better than the weather, but in the end Virginia walked off the field at Byrd Stadium with a 20-9 victory over Maryland last Saturday. The game wasn't one for the faint of heart, but it was just what Olney (Md.) Good Counsel wide receiver E.J. Scott was hoping for; to see his team win its third straight game.
