For UVa football team, when it rains, it pours

CavsCorner.com For Virginia, Saturday's game against No. 11 Georgia Tech was the chance to erase a horrific 0-3 start that included a loss to William & Mary. But more importantly, it was the chance to take a real lead in the ACC's Coastal Division. Although the final score wasn't indicative, the game with the Yellow Jackets was filled with opportunities to win. But those opportunities were squandered. On occasions, the pounding rain was replaced by moments of sunshine, but the storminess prevailed; a weather pattern reflective of the play on the field.
