With three consecutive wins to open the month of October, Virginia looked like it might play its way into the ACC's Coastal Division race. But those hopes were derailed by two ugly home losses to close out the month. Next up for the Cavaliers will be a road trip to 16th-ranked Miami, which is still hoping to sneak into the title game. But if that's going to happen, the Hurricanes can't afford another loss if they hope to overtake division leader Georgia Tech.
