Behind Enemy Lines: Looking at UVa's game against the Blue Devils
Following UVa's 49-35 win over Central Michigan last week, the Wahoos no longer have to worry about getting their first victory of 2016. But, heading into a game at Duke this Saturday afternoon (12:30 p.m., ACC Network), the Cavaliers do have to find a way to break a 17-game losing streak on the road.
Their opponents at Wallace Wade Stadium will be the 2-2 Blue Devils, a group that is coming off a rousing victory in South Bend that forced Notre Dame to fire its defensive coordinator. But the win wasn't without its losses, as standout defensive back and special teamer DeVon Edwards saw his Duke career ended by a knee injury.
We reached out to Brian McLawhorn, publisher of DevilsIllustrated.com, to talk about this game and get a sense of what the Hoos can expect to see from the Blue Devils.
