The Clash for the Commonwealth Cup is only a few days away and there's plenty of folks excited to see Virginia Tech and UVa face off on Friday night on a national stage (8 p.m., ESPN).

This is, of course, a series that the Hokies have dominated in the recent past, taking the last 13 in a row over the Wahoos. As such Tech (8-3, 4-3 ACC) will come in as a roughly touchdown favorite over its arch rival.

The Cavaliers, meanwhile, will enter this rivalry matchup after losing a tough one down in Miami Gardens and they will need to get beyond that as well as a host of other emotions on Senior Night in order to get a W.

We reached out to Tim Sullivan, editor of HokieHaven.com, to get his point of view on this Tech team, this Friday night's matchup, and the way he thinks things might play out in Scott Stadium.
