"It would certainly help them with me," said the 6-foot-1, 215-pounder who plays quarterback in high school but projects as a safety. "If UVA offered, they'd move right up to the top of my list. Right now they're behind Maryland and Penn State because they haven't offered. I'd put them even with Boston College (offer) and Notre Dame (no offer).
Justice, who originally wanted to make an early decision, plans on taking some official visits before deciding anything.
"I'll go to Maryland and Penn State for sure," he said. "I might go to BC, although I've been there a lot and could go anytime. UVA will be on my visit list along with Notre Dame if they offer."
Justice, who ran a 4.4-second 40-yard dash at Virginia and Maryland camps and a 4.5-second 40 at Boston College this summer, can play numerous positions in college, but most like him as a defensive back.
"Syracuse wants me as a quarterback a little bit, but that's about it," he said. "Virginia wants me as a safety, same with Maryland and BC. Penn State wants me as a linebacker. I don't really have a preference."
As a quarterback at Norwich Free Academy, he threw for 20 touchdowns and ran for another 15.
