He may have missed the food and the people during UVa's cookout on Saturday but that didn't stop the trip from making a big impression on three-star offensive lineman Bryson Speas.

"Yeah, we had gotten there pretty late because I had played a game the night before," he told CavsCorner. "So we arrived a little late...It was probably around 1 when we got there but it was a great visit."

The 6-foot-4, 265-pound tackle committed to the Cavaliers back in June. Since then, though, he's steadily picked up ACC interest. NC State offered a few weeks ago and Virginia Tech is still trying to get him into town for a visit.

This past weekend, UVa showed the Greensboro (NC) Dudley standout how well he fits into the program and into what the Cavaliers want to do on the offensive line.
