Three-star OL commit Speas recaps his latest visit to Virginia
He may have missed the food and the people during UVa's cookout on Saturday but that didn't stop the trip from making a big impression on three-star offensive lineman Bryson Speas.
"Yeah, we had gotten there pretty late because I had played a game the night before," he told CavsCorner. "So we arrived a little late...It was probably around 1 when we got there but it was a great visit."
The 6-foot-4, 265-pound tackle committed to the Cavaliers back in June. Since then, though, he's steadily picked up ACC interest. NC State offered a few weeks ago and Virginia Tech is still trying to get him into town for a visit.
This past weekend, UVa showed the Greensboro (NC) Dudley standout how well he fits into the program and into what the Cavaliers want to do on the offensive line.
