With the addition of two (though not three) grad transfer this summer, Virginia's depth in the trenches takes a big step forward. But in trying to address succession and numbers issues on the offensive line, Bronco Mendenhall and the Cavaliers are banking on "new" pieces fitting in quickly.

Despite a wealth of options at running back and wide receiver, in order for UVa's offense to find consistent success this season (and protect its quarterback given a tenuous depth situation there), the line needs to be both productive as well as much improved.
