When Tony Bennett and his coaching staff set out to watch recruits the previous two weekends, they did so knowing they were looking for a lot of help in the class of 2018. One player they zeroed in on early was four-star guard Noah Locke.

Ranked No. 95 overall in the Rivals150, the Owings Mills (MD) McDonogh standout has been a crucial piece for Team Melo on Nike's EYBL circuit. So far this spring, the 6-foot-3, 180-pound guard is scoring 19.1 points per game and shooting 50 percent from the field, including a 46.7-percent mark from 3-point range.

Since the end of the second evaluation period, Locke has picked up a host of new offers including not only UVa but also the likes of Virginia Tech, St. John's, Pitt, Marquette, UNLV, and most recently, Notre Dame and Minnesota.

CavsCorner caught up with the fast-rising guard prospect this weekend to disucs his recruitment, his interest in UVa, his timeframe for making a decision, and much more.
