Given the interest he's already gotten and the offers that have already come in, three-star defensive end/outside linebacker Chris Collins figures to have quite the recruitment heading into NSD 2018.

And that's pretty much what the Benedictine standout has been hoping for.

"So far, it's been pretty good," he told CavsCorner. "I've just been enjoying the process really. Recruiting really only last two years or so, so I just want to enjoy it while it lasts. Once I get to college, I'm sure I'll look back on it and reflect on it but right now I'm just trying to have fun with it."

In addition to UVa, Collins has early offers thus far from Duke, Georgia, Michigan State, North Carolina, Rutgers, Vanderbilt, and Wake Forest, among others.

Not many players, particularly those outside of the deep south, can say UGA was the first school to offer. But that's where Collins started, as the SEC power made for an especially memorable beginning to his recruitment.
