Plantation, Fla. linebacker H.B. Blades headed into his official visit this past weekend with two teams at the top of his list. Now there could be just one.
"My visit to Pitt this past weekend put them at the top of my list," said the 6-foot-0, 230-pounder. "I got along well with a lot of the players, especially my host Lewis Moore and a couple of Florida guys -- Claude Harriot and Torrie Cox. They're all pretty cool."

Blades sees the chance to play right away at Pitt.
"They said it's really up to me if I can pick up the defense," he said. "If I do that then there's a spot for me right away. I thought about committing, but I still want to see Virginia first."
Blades was supposed to visit Iowa State next weekend, but will be taking the ACT instead.
"If I need to, I'll schedule them for after Virginia," he said. "I have Auburn on Jan. 10 and UVA on Jan. 17. I'll probably decide right after the 17th."
Blades expects coaches from Pitt, Virginia, Iowa State and Auburn to visit him at home and school this weekend.
From The Farrell Files: Blades is being recruited by Al Golden, but the defensive coordinator has some work to do now. UVA gets the last shot in January so that's good news for the Cavs, but they need to make sure he takes his trip first.
